Job summary

Mercy is seeking Registered Nurses to provide safe, patient-centered care in a high-volume GI and Pulmonology setting. You will utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Roles include admitting, circulating in the procedure room, and recovery/discharge nursing across outpatient and hospital areas. Training occurs across 50–60 procedures daily with 8-hour shifts, including after-hours call.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure must be maintained.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required depending on unit.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and supervise direct caregivers.
• Support GI and Pulmonology procedures, admitting, circulating and recovery roles.
