Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a dynamic registered nurse to join the Endoscopy GSC team at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. This on-site, PRN position supports GI/endoscopy procedures with patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include administering medications during procedures, monitoring vital signs, preparing patients and equipment, and assisting with catheterization and fluoroscopy. Missouri RN license required; cardiovascular/invasive experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license (Board of Nursing) or multi-state compact.
• Two years of cardiovascular inpatient or invasive procedure RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor medications during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide oxygen as ordered.
• Prepare patient and equipment for catheterization and endoscopy.
• Assist in general endoscopy and fluoroscopy procedures.
• Transport and aid in patient transfers.
• Carry out unit/department duties as outlined in documents.
