Job summary

Fairview Health Services' M Health Fairview – Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse – Endoscopy to join our fast-paced Endoscopy unit. You will provide expert nursing care for endoscopy patients in a collaborative, learning-oriented environment.

The RN will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care for all assigned patient populations, coordinating with the health care team and delegates as appropriate.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• 2–5 years of RN Endoscopy procedure experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborates with patient, family and health team to develop a nursing plan.
• Develops an individualized plan based on age, culture and condition.
• Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicates with patient, family and health team to promote partnership-based care.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and care pathways to improve outcomes.
