Job summary

Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across units. You will apply the nursing process from assessment through evaluation, coordinating with physicians and the care team to achieve outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure and BCLS; 1–2 years of acute care experience is preferred. You will educate patients and families, monitor for complications, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years acute care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical protocols and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Document findings accurately and report changes to the care team promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a clean environment.
• Operate medical equipment and monitor patient status as required.
