Job summary

Northwell Health in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse in Endoscopy to provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a collaborative environment. The role requires an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), 1–2 years in related specialty, NYRN license, and BLS certification.

You will assess, document, and support outcomes while maintaining vigilant care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years of professional nursing experience in a related specialty.
• Current NY State RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Assess multiple health domains: GI, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, neurological.
• Assess mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition.
• Assess pain level and pain management.
• Document patient status and plan of care.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Formulate and implement the plan of care with priorities.
