RWJBarnabas Health is hiring an Endoscopy Room Registered Nurse (RN) at Jersey City Medical Center. This per diem, day‑shift position offers growth in a collaborative setting with a focus on safety and patient experience.

You will support endoscopy services, ensure patient readiness, and maintain high clinical standards while working with a multidisciplinary team. Active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and BSN are required, with EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification current.
• ACLS and Basic Dysrhythmia course completed.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or in BSN program with expected completion date.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands‑on care per standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families for next steps in care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary teamwork.
