Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
• BLS and RN licensure required; ACLS certification preferred or as listed.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Care Coordination: Monitors, evaluates, and supports care plans to promote patient outcomes and wellbeing; communicates plans with the care team.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: Addresses patient needs, educates families, and ensures patient-centered care.
• Performance Improvement: Supports initiatives to improve quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff performance.
• Professional Competency and Growth: Maintains licenses, completes required training, and pursues growth opportunities.
• Professional Leadership: Mentors colleagues, upholds confidentiality and safety standards, and supports governance.
• Other duties as assigned; adheres to Wellstar Health System policies.
