Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing services as part of the patient care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, acting as the liaison between patients, families, and providers within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification (Instructor or Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS equivalent.
• RN license, either Single State or Compact license.
• ACLS certification or equivalent (Instructor or Provisional within 180 days).

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate patient care plans with the care team.
• Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes.
• Maintain professional licensure and certifications; complete required training.
• Lead and mentor nurses; uphold confidentiality and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned per Wellstar Health System policies.
