Gastroenterology-Specialties,-PC in Lincoln, NE seeks an Endoscopy Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care throughout all phases of endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include pre-procedure education, intra-procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery, with collaboration among physicians and clinical staff. Requires RN license, BLS/ACLS with six-months readiness; benefits and a stable schedule provided.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months is required.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain within six months is required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prepare, and educate patients prior to endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians during colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other GI procedures.
• Monitor patient status and safety before, during, and after sedation.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and discharge education.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
