Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• RNs with <12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers required.
• BSN degree from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.
• BSN required as of 04/27/2025; earlier hires will follow previous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, social, and psychological status; collaborate with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Plan a care plan with active patient, family, and team involvement; prepare for education, referrals, and follow-up.
• Implement care by directing the interdisciplinary team; manage time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan as needed; reassess changes.
• Promote professionalism, ethics, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation.
