Job summary

Riverview Health in Noblesville, IN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit. The role involves direct patient care across the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure spectrum, ensuring safety, education, and continuity of care for patients undergoing GI and pulmonary procedures.

You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the nursing plan of care within established standards, while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Med Surg, Critical Care Experience
• Preferred: Endoscopy Experience, Moderate Sedation Administration Experience
• Minimum: Associate Degree as a Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree as a Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing
• Licenses & Certifications: ACLS
• Licenses & Certifications: RN licensure in Indiana
• Licenses & Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support
• Licenses & Certifications: CLIA regulations for point-of-care testing

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and ongoing physical, psychological, social, safety, educational, and discharge needs of each patient.
• Identify, ensure, and document compliance with regulatory mandates; oversee documentation for each patient.
• Utilize nurse assessment skills pre, intra, and post-procedure during pulmonary and GI procedures.
• Provide direct patient care and respond to patient needs promptly; collaborate with other healthcare disciplines.
• Assure continuity of care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedural periods; cross-train to Peri-anesthesia.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and disasters (internal and external).
• Provide nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice Act and standards of care.
• Function as testing personnel under CLIA1988 as it relates to point-of-care testing as required.
• Assist with financial management by monitoring supply usage and waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
