Job summary

Virtua seeks an experienced RN for the Endoscopy/Procedural area, joining a collaborative health care team. The role involves assessing and planning patient care, coordinating with the team, and educating patients and families about care needs.

Applicants must hold a New Jersey RN license with BLS/ACLS, and have endoscopy or telemetry/CCU exposure. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 40-hour workweek and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in New Jersey.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Telemetry or critical care experience is preferred.
• On-call with 30-minute response time is required.
• Full-time role with four 7:30–18:00 shifts per week (40 hours).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care and communicate with the healthcare team and families.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care needs.
• Delegate and monitor care among the nursing team.
• Engage in performance improvement activities and maintain competencies.
