Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its hospital's Endoscopy Department in New Jersey. You will provide comprehensive nursing care within scope, supervise team members, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.

Qualifications include ASN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred), active RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and experience in critical care and endoscopy.

The Registered Nurse (RN) role is based in the Endoscopy Department at a hospital campus.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care within the scope of practice, ensuring patient safety, supervising team members, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.

The RN must maintain knowledge of regulatory standards, report safety issues, and apply evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

include an ASN or Nursing Diploma (BSN or completion within 5 years), 3-5 years of critical care experience, and 2-3 years of endoscopy experience.

Certifications required are BLS and ACLS, along with an active RN license.

Preferred qualifications include national certifications such as CPAN, CAPA, or CGRN, as well as critical care and pre/post anesthesia experience.

Key duties

involve patient care management, delegation, safety reporting, and team collaboration.

The role requires day shifts, with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call overnight coverage.
