TAG MedStaffing is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) for our client in Gloucester County, NJ. The role covers intraprocedural nursing, moderate sedation monitoring, and post-procedure recovery, with direct patient care throughout the endoscopy process.

Candidates should have GI/endoscopy nursing experience, NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and proficiency with electronic medical records. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday in-office with an on-call rotation.

• Active New Jersey RN license or qualifying multistate compact RN license is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Recent hands-on experience in gastrointestinal or endoscopy nursing, including intraprocedural care and recovery, is required.
• Strong understanding of endoscopic procedures, moderate sedation monitoring, post-anesthesia recovery, patient assessment, and procedural nursing practices is required.
• Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems is required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to independently manage patients throughout endoscopy procedures and recovery are required.

TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) in Gloucester County, NJ for our client, supporting gastrointestinal procedures, intraprocedural nursing care, and post-procedure recovery. This role will provide direct patient care throughout the endoscopy process, including monitoring moderate sedation, assisting during procedures, and managing patient recovery. The ideal candidate brings recent hands-on endoscopy experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to independently provide care during both procedural and recovery phases.

Responsibilities as the Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN):

• Intraprocedural Nursing: Provide direct nursing care during gastrointestinal and endoscopic procedures while assisting physicians and clinical staff.
• Sedation Monitoring: Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation, assess vital signs, and respond appropriately to changes in clinical condition.
• Post-Procedure Recovery: Manage patient care following endoscopy procedures, including recovery monitoring, clinical assessments, and discharge readiness.
• Patient Assessment: Complete nursing assessments, review patient histories, and identify potential risks before, during, and after procedures.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to ensure safe patient transitions throughout the endoscopy process.
• Patient Safety: Maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow infection prevention protocols, and support established patient safety standards.

Qualifications for the Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN):

• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Licensure: Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license or qualifying multistate compact RN license is required.
• Certification: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
