Paylocity in Lakeland, FL seeks a qualified registered nurse to participate in pre-admission assessments for outpatient endoscopy, provide pre-procedure instructions, and ensure all data is in the patient record prior to admission.

You will assist physicians and GI staff during procedures, ensure Time Out per policy, administer moderate sedation under supervision, and perform PACU duties with thorough handoffs and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Nursing.
• Active Florida RN license.
• Minimum of One (1) year experience in outpatient endoscopy, medical surgical unit, or GI lab.
• Current CPR certification.
• CGRN preferred.
• Must obtain ACLS certification within 3 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Pre-admission assessment over the phone or in person with data in patient records.
• Assist physician, nurse extender and GI tech in procedure room; ensure Time Out per policy; provide moderate sedation under physician supervision.
• PACU duties: monitor patient after procedure, document, hand off care, and provide post-operative discharge instructions.
