Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks an Endoscopy Registered Nurse responsible for patient care before, during, and after endoscopy procedures. The RN will coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, educate patients, administer medications as per policy, and ensure equipment readiness and safety throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting bodies.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in a U.S. state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage care for patients undergoing endoscopy.
• Educate patients pre- and post-procedure.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain and prepare endoscopy equipment and supplies.
• Support safety and emergency procedures during procedures.
