Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a skilled registered nurse to join the Endoscopy Unit, serving GI, pulmonary, ECT and IR patients. This full-time, on-site role requires Endoscopy experience, BLS/ACLS, and the ability to perform under pressure with 30-minute on-call responsiveness when needed.

You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating with the healthcare team. A NJ RN license and strong communication are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NJ RN License and be licensed by the NJ Board.
• Endoscopy unit or procedural area experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Information

• This is a Full‑Time position essential for providing care to the GI, Pulmonary, ECT, and IR patients in the Endoscopy unit.
• Endoscopy Unit or Procedural Area Experience Required BLS and ACLS Required Telemetry or Critical Care Experience Preferred On‑Call requirement for off‑hours, weekend, and holidays with 30‑minute response time Required Full‑Time, four shifts per week 0700-1730, 40 hours per week

Role Statement

Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence‑based practice. As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

Job Essentials

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Effectively manages rapidly changing situations.

Educational Requirements, Qualifications

Must have valid NJ RN License. Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey licensing board. Refer to the Educational/Regulatory Requirement (Department Specific) policy in the Nursing Administrative Manual. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards. Perfects skills and stays abreast of current nursing practice through on‑going education, journals, etc. Must have strong communication skills. Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers.

Hourly Rate

46.31 - 64.17 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
