Schedule

Mon-Friday, no nights or weekends

Shift

General 8/hr shift with 6:00am start time. (Shift times will vary with facility schedule)

Responsibilities

• To assess patient health problems and needs
• To develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain electronic medical records
• To use strong patient assessment skills with experience in recovery of post anesthesia patients
• To identify pertinent patient history during admission process
• Serves as a patient/family advocate

Qualifications

• Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Michigan
• Previous clinical or hospital nursing experience, preferred
• 1.5-2 years of previous nursing experience in a surgical environment, preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Current ACLS Provider certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire) required
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
