Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ is seeking a Patient Care Secretarial Associate for the Endoscopy unit. This full-time daytime role supports patient care activities, coordinates daily unit operations and clerical functions, and assists with routine patient services from 7:30am to 3:30pm.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent (or 3 years healthcare experience), strong communication and customer service skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and comfort with scheduling

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills and experience in Customer Service/Relations
• Ability to identify and report clinical and environmental observations and follow through utilizing appropriate decision-making techniques
• Knowledge of medical abbreviations/terminology
• Complies with scheduling requirements utilizing computer applications
