Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for days & on-call shifts. The role requires recent acute care hospital bedside experience, with bonus potential up to $15,000 and a schedule that includes one night per week and one weekend per month.

BSN/MSN preferred; ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required within 1 year of hire; additional certifications in Pre/Post Op or Endoscopy are a plus.

Qualifications

• AT LEAST 12 months of RECENT acute care hospital bedside RN experience.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• ACLS, BLS & PALS within 1 year of hire; ENPC/ONS or Sentara approved courses may be required.
• Endoscopy/Pre/Post Op and Oncology care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, coordinate teaching and health promotion.
• Ensure standards of professional performance and quality evaluations.
