Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Operating Room Endo Technician to assist in endoscopy and surgical procedures under supervision. You will ensure aseptic technique, prepare instruments, and collaborate with nurses to maintain sterility and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles appropriate supplies/equipment for surgical and endoscopic procedures.
• Maintains and monitors sterility of the surgical field/equipment/environment throughout the procedure.
• Decontaminates, cleans, assembles, and sterilizes instruments when necessary.
• Works with the nurse to ensure accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
