Job summary

United Digestive in Gainesville, GA is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Center RN Manager to oversee the routine operations and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge.

In collaboration with the Director of Endoscopy, you will lead nursing staff, ensure a safe environment, administer medications as directed, and implement policies while maintaining compliance with state regulations and facility procedures. Strong management, communication, and clinical assessment skills are essential.

Qualifications

• State Licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) required; experience in surgical services and or GI endoscopy required; 2 years management experience preferred; BLS required and ACLS certification recommended; good clinical assessment skills, flexibility and basic computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assess staffing needs based on schedule and develop staffing patterns to promote care.
• Define nursing care needs in complex situations and identify interventions.
• Provide direction/consultation to nursing staff in implementing the nursing process.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and provide patient education.
• Document on all forms as required; administer medications per physician orders; communicate policies to staff.
