Job summary

The Cincinnati VA Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse - Endoscopy to deliver fundamental knowledge-based care to assigned clients. Qualifications

• English proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• State license as a registered professional nurse in the United States.
• Bridge program pathway for masters-level candidates may be considered.
• Foreign nursing education requires degree equivalency validation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care focused on patient education, self-management, and transitions across the continuum of care.
• Deliver endoscopy care to inpatients and outpatients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on patient status and procedures.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team for safe transitions.
• Maintain proficiency with endoscopy equipment and safety protocols.
• Follow Safe Patient Handling and Mobility guidelines.
