HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse Manager to provide leadership for the endoscopy suite, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in a surgical setting.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), BLS, and acute care experience; you will guide staff, enforce standards, and collaborate with physicians to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in accordance with state regulations.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, service excellence and strong interpersonal skills; able to read and follow instructions; proficient in PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the endoscopy department on a 24-hour basis to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Ensure nursing standards, policies and procedures meet legal, accrediting and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate care through an interdisciplinary team approach and share information with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Develop and implement programs to measure and improve nursing quality, patient safety and service excellence in assigned units.
• Ensure effective coordination of patient care with other hospital services and departments.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Endoscopy Nurse Manager. You will provide leadership and expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a surgical environment. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• You will provide leadership and take responsibility for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments on a 24-hour basis.
• You will ensure department's standard of nursing practice, nursing policies and procedures meet legal, and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
• You will ensure the continuity of care through demonstrated use of interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
• You will collaborate and share pertinent patient information with physicians, patients, and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient progress, and treatment.
• You will develop and implement ongoing programs to measure, monitor, assesses and to improve quality of nursing care delivered to patients, working toward hospital-wide improvement in meeting core measure, patient safety, and service excellence goals in assigned units.
• You will ensure the effective coordination of the patient's care with other services and departments throughout the hospital.

What qualifications you will need:
