Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Senior Medical Safety Specialist – Endoscopy to lead safety surveillance across GI and pulmonary devices. You will provide medical expertise, oversight, and risk assessment across the product lifecycle while collaborating with Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in health sciences, 5+ years with direct patient care, and strong knowledge of global medical device regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care, life sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' direct patient care (e.g., RN, PA, NP).
• Minimum of 5 years' clinical or scientific research, preferably medical device trials.

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical knowledge to support a broad portfolio of medical devices.
• Analyze data from trials, complaints, and MDRs to identify safety issues.
• Escalate safety concerns to senior leadership; drive appropriate actions.
• Review promotional materials for medical accuracy; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Safety Manager to communicate complex information.
