Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Perform High Level Disinfection (HLD) to process all endoscopy for MUSC Charleston.
• Inspect, decontaminate and disinfect endoscopes and instruments per policies and procedures.
• Store scopes correctly and maintain documentation for damaged equipment and inventory.
• Monitor quality testing related to HLD and report any issues.
• Prepare instrument packs for SPD and retrieve instruments daily from SPD.
