Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Endoscopy Suite. You will coordinate scheduling, supervise staff, and ensure high quality patient care and compliance.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least three years of Endoscopy experience. Strong communication and policy knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program with active Florida RN license.
• Strong knowledge of Endoscopy policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Experience coordinating staff and scheduling in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the Endoscopy staff to provide a daily smooth flow of cases.
• Assists in coordination of daily case scheduling in the Endoscopy Suite with other staff to ensure schedule will flow smoothly.
• Communicate effectively with physicians to resolve issues and provide efficiency and smooth case flow.
• Assists with education by coordinating and/or giving in-services.
• Prepare schedules in the afternoon for next day.
• Supervise for case completions of the day and setting up for the next day.
• Communicate with physicians to resolve equipment or instrument issues by coordinating ordering or getting repairs done.
• Works closely with Materials and Sterile Processing Dept to coordinate supplies & instrument needs.
• Preparing and administering annual evaluations
• Works closely with manager with hiring and orienting staff members
• Hhelps in revising and preparing policies that relate to Endoscopyfunctions
• Assistance in maintaining compliance forAAAHC surveys
• Assistance with staff counseling as necessary
• Coordinates and assists in Performance Improvement Projects.

Required Skills

• Three (3) years experience in Endoscopy
• CurrentFlorida RN License
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required
