Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. is seeking an Endoscopy Support professional to assist the GI Procedure Center in delivering safe, patient-centered care.

Your role includes preparing rooms, assisting during procedures, and ensuring equipment readiness and cleanliness. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma (or equivalent), BLS certification, and at least one year of ambulatory clinical support experience, with mandatory CEUs yearly.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of patient care or ambulatory clinical support.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Annual CEUs required (10 CEUs annually).

Responsibilities

• Perform duties that support safe, effective patient care and GI procedure operations.
• Assist with endoscopy prep, aseptic technique, and room turnover.
• Transport patients and assist the clinical team during procedures.
• Maintain, decontaminate, and store endoscopic equipment and supplies.
