Job summary

Talera is seeking an Endoscopic Specialist to support a leading medical device provider. This on-site, contract role focuses on hands-on client support at hospitals and surgery centers in Chattanooga.

You will perform maintenance and repairs on KARL STORZ devices, train OR staff on device operation, and identify workflow improvements to reduce repair costs while ensuring sterile, compliant procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience providing medical device support, preferably in endoscopy or surgical settings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of sterilization and maintenance protocols.
• Ability to operate effectively in sterile clinical environments.
• Excellent communication and staff training abilities.

Responsibilities

Endoscopic Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person technical support for medical devices within client hospitals or surgery centers.
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on KARL STORZ devices, including video equipment and hand instruments.
• Ensure instruments are properly inspected, sterilized, and prepared for surgical use.
• Educate operating room staff and department members on device operation and best practices.
• Identify and recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize repair costs.

Endoscopic Specialist Qualifications:

• Proven experience with medical device support, preferably in endoscopy or surgical environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of sterilization and maintenance protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in sterile, clinical settings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to train staff on device use.
