Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Endodontist to practice on Army and Air Force bases across the U.S. You will diagnose, treat, and plan endodontic cases with autonomy in a supportive, referral-rich environment.

The role offers 1-2 Saturdays per month on schedule with potential to expand. Malpractice coverage is provided and you will collaborate with general dentists and staff while maintaining high standards of infection control.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pulpal and periapical conditions using evidence-based endodontic techniques.
• Perform root canal therapy (including retreatment), pulpotomies, apicoectomies and related procedures.
• Utilize digital radiography and other diagnostic tools for treatment planning.

Your Role as a Part-Time Endodontist:

• Diagnose and treat pulpal and periapical conditions using evidence-based endodontic techniques
• Perform root canal therapy (including retreatment), pulpotomies, apicoectomies, and related surgical procedures as needed
• Utilize digital radiography, and other diagnostic tools for treatment planning
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, post-operative care, and prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records
• Collaborate with general dentists to coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of treatment
• Uphold strict infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with CDC and OSHA standards

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental program
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program
• Active, unrestricted state dental license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• DEA license (if applicable)
• Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain Real ID for military base access
