Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Endodontist to provide expert root canal therapy and related procedures on military bases. You will work with a supportive team, maintain autonomy in treatment planning, and enjoy malpractice coverage with no on-call requirements.

The role offers flexible scheduling (1–2 Saturdays per month) and the chance to treat a service-connected population while avoiding private-practice overhead.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• DEA license (if applicable).
• Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain Real ID for military base access.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pulpal and periapical conditions using evidence-based endodontic techniques.
• Perform root canal therapy (including retreatment), pulpotomies, apicoectomies, and related surgical procedures as needed.
• Utilize digital radiography, and other diagnostic tools for treatment planning.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, post-operative care, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with general dentists to coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Uphold strict infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with CDC and OSHA standards.
