Your Role as an Endodontist

  • Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for complex endodontic cases, including root canal therapy, apicoectomies, and retreatments.
  • Partner with general dentists and specialists for comprehensive care coordination.
  • Ensure patients are well-informed and comfortable through clear communication and gentle chairside manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work within a fully digital clinical workflow.
  • Engage in continuing education and mentorship to refine your clinical expertise.

What You’ll Need

  • DMD or DDS degree from an accredited U.S. dental school
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited endodontics residency program
  • Active New York dental license
  • Board Certification (or board eligibility) from the American Board of Endodontics (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Medicaid patient care (preferred)
