Job summary

i4 Dental Lab in Sparks, NV seeks a skilled Endodontist to diagnose and treat pulp and root canal conditions, perform retreatments and apicoectomies, and collaborate with general dentists to deliver patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS or DMD with an accredited endodontics residency, an active state license, and proficiency with dental imaging software. You will educate patients and maintain meticulous treatment records in our practice software.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree and completion of an accredited endodontics residency.
• Active dental license in good standing as required by the state.
• Endodontic specialty certification where applicable.
• Strong clinical skills in root canal therapy and related procedures.
• Excellent communication with patients and team members.
• Familiarity with dental imaging systems and practice software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp and root canal system.
• Perform root canal therapy, retreatments, and apicoectomies.
• Review patient histories to determine treatment plans.
• Interpret X-rays, CT scans, and diagnostic imaging to assess tooth/root condition.
• Administer local anesthesia and manage patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on procedures, aftercare, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records in practice software.
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols per regulations.
• Stay current on advances in endodontic techniques, materials, and technology.

Seeking a skilled Endodontist to join our team in Sparks, NV. This role is ideal for a dental professional who takes pride in delivering precise, patient-centered specialty care while collaborating with a supportive, close-knit group of dental professionals. You will play a key role in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the tooth pulp and root, helping patients preserve their natural teeth and maintain long-term oral health.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp and root canal system
• Performing root canal therapy, retreatments, and apicoectomies
• Reviewing patient dental and medical histories to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Interpreting X-rays, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging to assess tooth and root condition
• Administering local anesthesia and managing patient comfort throughout procedures
• Collaborating with general dentists and dental assistants to coordinate patient care
• Educating patients on procedures, aftercare, and preventive measures to protect treated teeth
• Maintaining accurate and detailed treatment records in dental practice software
• Following sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with regulations
• Staying current on advances in endodontic techniques, materials, and technology

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, with completion of an accredited endodontics residency program
• Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice, with specialty certification in endodontics where applicable
• Strong clinical skills in root canal therapy and related specialty procedures
• Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues
