Job summary

i4 Dental Lab is seeking an experienced Endodontist to join our close-knit practice, delivering root canal therapy and advanced endodontic treatments with precision. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team focused on patient comfort and high-quality care.

You will collaborate with general dentists and specialists, maintaining detailed records and staying current with the latest techniques while mentoring staff and contributing to practice growth.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD with accredited endodontics residency
  • Active dental license in good standing in the state of practice
  • Board certification or eligibility in endodontics
  • Strong clinical skills in endodontic procedures including retreatments
  • Excellent communication with patients and referring dentists
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to quality patient care
  • Good time-management for a busy schedule
  • Familiarity with practice software, imaging, and CBCT is a plus
  • Professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety
  • Willingness to learn and grow with mentorship

Responsibilities

  • Examining patients and reviewing medical histories to understand oral health needs
  • Diagnosing pulpal and nerve issues and creating tailored treatment plans
  • Performing root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies and related procedures
  • Reading X-rays, CBCT scans, and diagnostic tests to guide treatment
  • Helping patients understand options and easing anxiety about procedures
  • Prescribing medications when needed and adhering to regulations
  • Collaborating with general dentists and specialists for coordinated care
  • Maintaining accurate patient records per privacy standards
  • Following sterilization and infection control practices
  • Working with dental assistants and front-office staff for smooth operations
  • Participating in mentorship and ongoing learning to grow skills
  • Staying current with new techniques and technologies in endodontics

We're looking for an Endodontist to join our team and bring specialized expertise in root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments to our patients. What You'll Be Doing
  • Examining patients and reviewing their dental and medical histories to fully understand their oral health needs
  • Diagnosing issues related to the tooth pulp and nerves, and creating treatment plans tailored to each case
  • Performing root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic procedures with precision and care
  • Reading X-rays, CBCT scans, and other diagnostic tests to guide your treatment decisions
  • Helping patients understand their treatment options and easing any anxiety about the procedure
  • Prescribing medications when needed, following all applicable regulations
  • Collaborating with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate patient care
  • Keeping accurate, up-to-date patient records in line with privacy and regulatory standards
  • Following proper sterilization and infection control practices throughout the office
  • Working closely with dental assistants and front-office staff to keep things running smoothly
  • Jumping into mentorship opportunities and ongoing learning to keep growing your skills
  • Staying in the loop on new techniques, materials, and technology in endodontics
What We're Looking For
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school, plus completion of an accredited endodontics residency program
  • Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
  • Board certification or eligibility in endodontics is a plus
  • Solid clinical skills across a range of endodontic procedures, including complex and retreatment cases
  • Great communication skills, both with patients and referring dentists
  • An eye for detail and a real commitment to quality, patient-centered care
  • Good time-management skills to juggle a busy, varied schedule
  • Comfort with dental practice software, digital imaging, and CBCT technology is a plus
  • A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety standards
  • An eagerness to learn and grow, with openness to mentorship along the way
