Squire Dental is seeking a skilled Endodontist to join our collaborative team in Cinnaminson, NJ. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology within an established practice committed to patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold a DDS or DMD, complete an endodontics residency, have an active license or be eligible to obtain one, and ideally possess ABE certification.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Endodontics residency completed required.
• Active dental license in the practicing state or eligibility.
• ABE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, evaluate findings and imaging to determine needs and goals.
• Collaborate with dentists and specialists to create coordinated treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed patient records including notes, findings and treatments.
• Perform root canal treatments to address pulp infection and preserve teeth.
• Perform endodontic surgery when indicated for complex cases.
• Perform apicoectomies to treat inflammation near the root tip.
• Evaluate and maintain teeth post-treatment and provide retreatment if needed.

Hours:Flexible scheduling based on the Endodontist’s availability.

Endodontist Requirements:

• DDS or DMD degree.
• Completion of a residency program in endodontics.
• Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Certification through the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) is preferred.
• Proven experience working as an Endodontist.

Endodontist Responsibilities:

• Consulting with patients and evaluating clinical findings, diagnostic imaging, and patient histories to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
• Collaborating with other dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, including appointment notes, clinical findings, diagnostic tests and results, and prescribed treatments.
• Performing root canal treatment to address damaged or infected tooth pulp and preserve natural teeth.
• Performing endodontic surgery, when indicated, to address complex conditions involving calcified canals, support accurate diagnosis, and treat damaged root surfaces or surrounding bone.
• Performing apicoectomies to treat persistent inflammation or infection in the bone surrounding the root tip.
• Evaluating and maintaining teeth that have previously undergone root canal treatment, including providing follow-up care and retreatment as needed.
