Overview

Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM) at New York Medical College invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position in the Division of Endodontics. We seek a dynamic and experienced individual to provide predoctoral education in didactic, preclinical, and clinical settings in the field of endodontics, with the ability to teach with a focus in pediatric endodontics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and laboratory instruction in Endodontics within the predoctoral curriculum.
• Supervise third- and fourth-year dental students in the clinical comprehensive care programs.
• Participate in course development and delivery of lectures, seminars, and hands-on training.
• Contribute to the school's academic mission through scholarly activity and committee participation.
• Engage in administrative duties related to academic and clinical operations.
• Support the continuous development and assessment of the Endodontics curriculum.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure quality patient care and educational outcomes.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree or equivalent international degree.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Interest in teaching pediatric endodontics.

Certifications/Licensures

• Certificate of training from an ADA-accredited Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), General Practice Residency (GPR), or equivalent advanced degree.
• Eligible for licensure in New York State.
