Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a self-motivated Endodontist for a part-time opportunity in Franklin, Wisconsin. You will provide high-quality endodontic care in a fast-paced, well-supported practice environment.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Endodontic specialty certification required.
• Current dental license in the state of hire required.
• Willingness to travel overnight for training sessions monthly during first year.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical endodontic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat abnormalities in jaws, teeth position, and dental-facial structures.
• Provide high-quality endodontic care for patients, focusing on nerve, pulp and tissue health.
• Assess endodontic and oral health needs using X-rays and diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and counsel patients on treatment options in a comprehensive manner.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and treatment benefits.
• Assist with leading and supervising office team members.

• Examines, diagnoses, and treats abnormalities in development of jaws, position of teeth, and other dental-facial structures.
• Providing high quality endodontic care, including treating diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting health and function of teeth
• Examining patients to determine endodontic and oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures
• Diagnosing and providing treatment counseling to patients in a comprehensive manner
• Educating patients on the benefits of proper oral and dental hygiene
• Assisting with leading and supervising office team members
  

Educational Requirements:
You must possess a strong work ethic, an outgoing and personable chair-side manner and the desire to improve within the dental field. You must also be flexible, open and positive.
Requirements include:

• DDS or DMD degree
• Current dental license in state of hire
• Must have a current certification specialty in endodontics
• Ability to travel overnight to training sessions once a month during your first year of employment
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience a plus, none required
