Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant/Associate/ Professor-In-Residence of Clinical Sciences (Endodontics), School of Dental Medicine. This full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track Faculty-In-Residence position oversees the pre-doctoral endodontic curriculum and oversees patient care in both general and specialty clinics.

Ideal candidates will have a DDS/DMD with an Endodontics specialty, be eligible for Nevada licensure, and may have teaching experience.

Qualifications

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from an accredited college or university.
• Completion of specialty program in Endodontics from a CODA approved dental school.
• Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada.
• Licensure in Nevada requires that the candidate has graduated from a CODA approved dental school in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pre-doctoral endodontic curriculum, including pre-clinical and clinical endodontic courses.
• Supervise and deliver patient care in general dentistry and specialty clinics.
• Provide academic and clinical support for Advanced Education programs in GPR, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics.
• Opportunity for intramural faculty practice/extramural private practice.
