Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Endocrinology department at St. Vincent Medical Group in Carmel, IN. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., supporting patient care plans and discharge planning.

You will coordinate care across disciplines, execute physician and nursing orders, and require Indiana RN licensure with BLS within 30 days of hire. Endocrinology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Indiana RN license required prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's in Nursing with office clinical experience.
• Diabetes and endocrinology experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
