NKC Health Endocrinology clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our compassionate care team in Kansas City, MO. You will support physicians and APPs, administer medications, educate patients, and coordinate procedures in a Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm schedule with occasional after-hours as needed.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Missouri RN licensure and BLS certification is required; 2 years of office-based nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician’s office setting, preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association.
• Basic office skills, patient-centered mindset, excellent time management and organization; ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner or other advanced practice provider.
• Schedule patient procedures and relay test preparation instructions, hospital registration requirements, and physician instructions to patients in a timely manner.
• Thoroughly educate and explain procedures and treatment plan to patients and caregivers.
• Assist providers to maximize patient volume and document patient care accurately and timely.
• Perform EMR tasks accurately and timely.
• Promote teamwork and provide excellent customer service in person and on the telephone.
• Follow regulatory and patient safety clinical standards.
