Job summary

Legacy Community Health System in Houston seeks a licensed endocrinologist to provide patient care across our network of clinics. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary teamwork, teaching medical students, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

The candidate should be board-certified or eligible in Endocrinology, hold a Texas medical license, and possess DEA, CPR/AED certification, with Epic EMR proficiency a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Must be licensed in Texas as an MD or DO.
Board Certified/Eligible in Endocrinology.
Active DEA Provider.
BLS (CPR&AED) Certified.
Ability to meet Legacy Epic proficiency requirements.

Responsibilities

See patients in the Clinic as scheduled.
Collaborate with medical schools and residency programs.
Develop methods to assess quality of clinical services.
Provide supervision of health care students assigned to the Clinic.
Participate in planning for future clinical operations with interdisciplinary teams.
Recruit and retain providers and other clinical staff.
Attend service line meetings and contribute to research initiatives.
