Job description

Located in suburban Kansas City, AdventHealth Kansas City is searching for a highly skilled and patient-focused endocrinologist to join its busy existing group.

Our physicians provide a full range of endocrinology and diabetes care. The practice employs full-time Certified Diabetes Educators and has convenient access to dieticians due to its location on the hospital campus. The position offers both in and outpatient opportunities.

Practice Details

• Campus: Shawnee Mission
• 1 in 4 call rotation
• Call weeks are inpatient only with no outpatient clinic obligation during those weeks
• 24-hour call coverage (inpatient and outpatient clinic at night)
• Working hours: Friday 5 pm to Friday 5 pm
• EMR: Epic
• 15-20 inpatient admissions daily
• 4 hours per week allocated for administrative duties

Candidates must be fellowship trained in endocrinology, Board certified, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Respect for patients, colleagues, and staff is essential, with a focus on providing an exceptional patient experience.
