Salary range: The salary range for this position is $177,036-$215,715 (Assistant), $201,378 - $238,517 (Associate), $227,916- $293,035 (Full). This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. The VA salary range (to be negotiated directly with VA) for this position is $100,000-$250,000.

Position description
The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, is recruiting for a full-time (50% UC Davis and 50% VA Mather) faculty member in the Health Sciences Clinical (HSCP) series or Clinical X series at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Faculty in the Clinical X series are expected to engage in professional competence and activity, teaching, research, and creative work, and university/public service. Faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series are expected to engage in teaching, professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and university/public service.
The salary ranges provided are based on full-time employment and will be prorated for part-time employment.
The duties for this position will be split 50/50 between UC Davis Health and the Sacramento VA.

Endocrine faculty responsibilities include inpatient consultation and outpatient clinical care; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; university/public service; and participation at scheduled meetings and CME activities. The incumbent will provide expert clinical care in general endocrinology and diabetes, foster collegiality, work collaboratively in a diverse environment, and adhere to university and VA policies and procedures.
