Job Opportunity: Physician at Midwest Dysphagia Consultants & Professional Imaging

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded throughout eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
• Health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and educational stipends are available.
• No weekend or night call requirements.
• Malpractice insurance and tail coverage are paid for by the practice, with a track record of over 400,000 evaluations in 19 years without malpractice inquiries or actions.

Practice Overview:

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallows, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These assessments are conducted using a mobile unit, as shown on our website.

Our mobile unit serves various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients requesting swallowing studies. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, with same-day appointments when possible. Our goal is to have staff home by 4:00 or 5:00 PM daily.
