Endocrinology Physician at Veterans Health Administration

Summary: The Endocrinology Physician will lead and provide interdisciplinary care to veterans at Central Arkansas VA, a large and complex health system. The role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on enhancing the Endocrinology program while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Health System Highlights: As a level 1A health system, our 551-bed twin facilities and 8 outreach clinics make Central Arkansas VA one of the nation's largest and most complex. Equipped with a full range of medical, surgical, and ancillary support, you will provide the highest levels of interdisciplinary care. Our team, consisting of 3 current Endocrinologists, 2 Midlevel providers, and over 6 support staff, works together to elevate our Endocrinology program to new heights.

Workload:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
• Four days per week in clinic, starting with 8 patients per day.
• One day per week dedicated to administrative, educational, and research activities, if interested.
• Shared inpatient consult service and call coverage (approximately 2-4 patients per day), supported by Residents and Fellows.
• Hospitalist team manages admissions and discharges.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Potential starting base salary: $250,000 - $275,000
