Pediatric Endocrinology opening - Harrisburg, PA

Located 40 miles from Lancaster and 80 miles from Baltimore.

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent position
• Facility with 72 NICU, PICU, and general pediatric beds
• The pediatric team includes 7 pediatric hospitalists, 4 pediatric intensivists, 9 neonatologists, 1 child neurologist, 2 pediatric endocrinologists, 2 pediatric gastroenterologists, 4 pediatric cardiologists, 1 pediatric orthopedist, 2 pediatric surgeons, as well as pediatric and neonatal APPs.
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Provides direct pediatric care via telemedicine and in-person clinic visits
• Minimal call requirements; on-call coverage mainly involves phone consultations for inpatient cases, with some telemedicine support. An after-hours Nurse Advice Line handles most outpatient calls.
• Access to online diagnostics including PACS imaging and laboratory results
• Schedule includes Monday through Sunday with rotating weekends
