Bon Secours Mercy Health

is seeking to hire a MD/DO for Bon Secours Diabetes & Endocrinology practice in Richmond, VA. This is an exciting growth opportunity for a provider looking to be busy with a expanding practice. The new provider will support patients with serious or complex endocrine system diseases, disorders, and conditions, and develop new treatment techniques. Conducting research and studies on the endocrine system is also part of the role. We are looking to hire ASAP! Experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply!

Job Details:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Call Schedule: Rotates weekly, with shared cross coverage among team providers
• Hospital Credentialing: Mary’s Hospital, Memorial Regional Medical Center
• Average patients per day: 19-23
• Patient Age Range: 18 and up
• EMR: EPIC with telemedicine capabilities
• Special Skills & Training: Diabetes Management & Endocrine Disorders; Medical degree in endocrinology; Completion of residency and fellowship; Medical license and certification in endocrinology; Strong understanding of endocrine diseases; Analytical, decision-making, interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and researching skills; Proficiency with computers and medical equipment
• Practice support in place
• Mentorship available in practice
