We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various experiences are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.
The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging started in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded across eastern Texas. Our monthly census is approximately 2,300 patients, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.
Physicians working 4 to 5 days a week can expect an annual income of approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend. There are no weekend or night calls, and malpractice insurance, including tail coverage, is paid for by the practice. Our 19-year history with over 400,000 evaluations shows a strong commitment to patient safety, with no malpractice inquiries or actions.
Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, using a mobile unit (pictured on our website). We serve various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients requesting swallowing studies, with 95% of requests scheduled within 24 to 72 hours. We strive to complete daily work by 4:00 or 5:00 PM.
