Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.

Our practice is part of a network that includes sister practices in New England and Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges approximately from $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401k retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekends or night call required.
4. Malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice. Over 19 years and more than 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit as shown on our website.

Services and Scheduling

We serve various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients, with requests routed through our office staff. Most evaluations are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, with same-day appointments possible depending on volume and location. We prioritize ensuring our staff is home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
