The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of endocrine disorders, with a focus on diabetes and thyroid conditions. This opportunity begins on 06/16/2025, and involves working clinic hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with Friday afternoons reserved for administrative tasks. The position includes a 1:2 call rotation, covering both practice calls and consults. The physician will primarily work in an outpatient setting (90%) with some inpatient responsibilities (10%). Proficiency in Epic EMR is required. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive endocrinology care, focusing on diabetes management
• Diagnose and treat conditions such as hypothyroidism, thyroid goiters, thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, and hypogonadism
• Address pituitary issues, osteoporosis, and osteopenia
• Perform thyroid biopsies if trained
• Manage both outpatient (90%) and inpatient (10%) cases
• Handle practice calls and consults during assigned call rotations
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain excellent patient care and satisfaction
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in any required meetings or training sessions
